Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to compare the personality traits of economic entrepreneurs with the personality traits of successful marketers. Method: This research was conducted as a practical objective and in terms of comparative causal implementation method using available sampling. The statistical population of 400 people including all entrepreneurs and marketers of Chabahar city in 2023 with a sample size of 200 people was conducted using the Cochran formula with a significance level of (0.05). Collecting data using the questionnaire of personality characteristics of Kurdnaich et al. (2008). Findings: The results indicate that, in general, there is a significant difference in terms of the scores of personality traits in economic entrepreneurs and successful marketers (P<0.05) and there is a significant difference between the two groups in at least one of the components of personality traits. Conclusion: Between the two groups of successful marketers and economic entrepreneurs, successful marketers had a higher balanced risk-taking, locus of control and challenge seeking, and economic entrepreneurs had a higher need for success, mental health, pragmatism and tolerance of uncertainty
