Abstract

The present study aimed to investigate the role of job stress and spiritual health in predicting the quality of life of nurses in Qaen city. The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population included all nurses in Qaen city, from whom 150 people were selected as samples using the available and non-random sampling method. Data were collected using the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) stress questionnaire (1990), Paloutzian and Ellison spiritual health scale (1982), and World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire - short form (1991). To analyze the data was used Regression analysis with the help of Spss23 software. The results showed that job stress and spiritual health were able to predict quality of life and they predicted more than 53% of quality of life. Therefore, it can be concluded that job stress and spiritual health have a significant role in predicting quality of life and the need to pay attention to these factors seems essential to increase the quality of life in nurses.
