Abstract

The present study aimed to identify and explain the key themes related to job stressors, organizational crises, and employee resilience. This review study conducted using a thematic analysis approach. To collect data, studies published between 2016 and 2026 in reputable scientific databases examined, and finally, 42 eligible articles included in the analysis process. Data analysis conducted based on Braun and Clarke’s thematic analysis framework, leading to the extraction of 136 initial codes, 34 sub-themes, and 6 main themes. The findings indicated that structural job stressors and organizational crises threaten employees’ well-being and performance by increasing uncertainty, job insecurity, role ambiguity, role conflict, and burnout. In contrast, individual resources, social support, resilient leadership, and human resource management strategies can strengthen employee resilience. The results suggest that employee resilience is a key mechanism for maintaining mental health, job performance, organizational commitment, and organizational sustainability under crisis conditions.
