Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between self-efficacy and psychological hardiness with entrepreneurial behaviors among new entrepreneurs in Fars Science and Technology Park. This is an applied research and the descriptive research method of correlation type was used to do it. The statistical population included all the entrepreneurs in Fars Science and Technology Park located in Shiraz city, which was estimated to be 178 people using Cochran's formula as the sample size. They were selected using simple random sampling method. Zamptakis' entrepreneurial behavior, Scherer et al.'s self-efficacy and Kobasa's hardiness questionnaires were used to collect data. The validity and reliability of the tools have been reported as favorable. Data analysis was done using Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression tests. The research findings showed that there is a significant direct positive relationship between self-efficacy and hardiness with entrepreneurial behavior and these two variables together can predict about 65% of entrepreneurial behavior
