Investigating the relationship between social capital and organizational spiritual intelligence with the job performance of employees of Yazd Education Department

Abstract

The aim of this study was to explain the relationship between social capital and organizational spiritual intelligence with the performance of employees of Yazd Education Department. The method of this research is a survey method and using a questionnaire and the questioner in person. The statistical population considered in this study is all employees of Yazd education 200 people, Census method was used to select the sample. Data were collected using the Social Capital Questionnaire and David B. King Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire, Employee Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire and Patterson (1970) Employee Performance Questionnaire. To determine the reliability of the questionnaires, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used, based on which the reliability of the social capital questionnaire was 0.88, spiritual intelligence was 0.66 and staff performance was 0.80. Findings showed that there is a significant relationship between social capital and employee performance. There are significant relationships between components of social capital such as trust, cooperation, values, commitment and relationships with employee performance. Also, the results showed that all components of employee performance except existential thinking have a significant relationship with spiritual intelligence. Finally, the results showed that there is a significant relationship between the components of social capital and the components of spiritual intelligence.
